From 1941, the Uerdingen wagon factory, together with a number of other companies such as MAN, built over 3700 lightweight tank wagons.
The two-axle wagons had a capacity of 30m3.
In the course of the Second World War, the wagons came to almost all European railway administrations and, like in Germany, were still used in some cases until the early 2000s.
